e-Portfolio explained
As an education student (and aspiring teacher), I have created this e-Portfolio as a means to showcase my professional growth, as well as to share resources and ideas. This e-Portfolio was originally created as a learning requirement for EDU 210 (Educational Technology) at the University of Alberta, but has since evolved into a professional space that allows potential employers and collaborators to view my work and reflections anytime, anywhere, as an extension of my traditional résumé. As an important component of my professional repertoire, this site has been tailor-made to display my work in the field of education (although my endeavors in journalism and television production/web editing are available at a separate link).
The first entries on this e-Portfolio blog will relate to assignments completed for EDU 210, which introduced me to the frameworks that guide technology use in education. In this course, I gained hands-on experience with various technologies that support teaching and learning, and curated strategies for effective integration of technology into the school curriculum.
